Max Halik is a Senior Research Associate at Lux, and leads its research in the energy transition's impact on power generation and the electrical grid. This includes topics ranging from small modular nuclear reactors, floating photovoltaics, monitoring and management software for the electrical grid, microgrid energy trading, and more.

Max’s background is in synthesizing and characterizing novel photovoltaic cells as well as developing strategies for residential storage aggregation and grid management.

He holds an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, and a BS in Engineering Physics from Gordon College.
