Description
The past decade has seen a steady growth in Green Building construction, with the market driven by third party standards such as LEED, standing at 325 million m2 globally, translating to $260 billion. In the U.S., the green construction market accounts for 20% of new construction. As the market has become firmly mainstream, motivations for green construction are changing from environmental to economic, and from the “right thing to do” to “this is good for my bottom line”. However, this change in motivation will influence the choice of technologies in Green Buildings. In this webinar we will focus on analyzing three critical motivations, namely:
Compliance with Green Building standards and building energy codes
Increasing awareness regarding appreciation of Green Building assets
Consumer drivers for smart interactive buildings for health and productivity enhancements
