Oscar Gamez

Oscar Gámez is a Consultant at Lux. In his role, he helps top executives shape their innovation strategies in the energy domain. Oscar acts as a thought partner in the prioritization of technology innovations, assessment of partnership candidates, design of market entry strategies, and development of technology roadmaps. He has contributed to engagements on the topics of batteries, power electronics, AI platforms, microgrids, carbon capture and utilization, hydrogen storage, among others. Similarly, Oscar has helped clients, chemicals, and materials, among others.  

Prior to joining Lux, Oscar worked at the Solar Energy applications Center of the Netherlands studying photovoltaics systems under partial shading conditions, focusing on the modeling of power electronics systems. Oscar also previously worked as a software engineer at Accenture, focusing on performance testing. 

Oscar holds a master's degree in sustainable energy technologies from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He also obtained a BSc. in mechatronics engineering from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL), in his hometown, Monterrey, Mexico.
