Tom Dawidczyk leads Lux Research’s Sensors Intelligence service and contributes to Lux Research’s Digital Transformation of Physical industries program, where he helps clients make informed decisions about emerging device hardware, components, data management and analysis, and deployments.
Before joining Lux, Tom worked at Becton Dickinson (BD) where he led the development both point-of-care molecular diagnostics and smart drug delivery patches. Additionally Tom worked for Karl Storz, developing medical endoscopes, and was an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Researcher working on wearable, flexible, and stretchable sensors and devices.
Tom has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Johns Hopkins University, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He has published research articles on technology areas such as thin film processing, organic electronics, device physics, and fabric-based electronics.
