Tiffany Hua is a Research Associate at Lux. She is a member of the Accelerating Materials Innovation team where she covers emerging technologies within the chemicals and materials industry including functional textiles, smart materials, bio-based polymers, and sustainable packaging. Tiffany is very interested in the circular economy and is monitoring innovative trends and disruptions in this space.
Prior to joining Lux, Tiffany worked at the Langer Lab at MIT where she researched and designed retentive drug delivery systems for chronic diseases. She has authored and coauthored several academic publications on topics including 3D printed smart gastric devices, extended drug delivery, and gastric retention device design.
Tiffany holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Massachusetts Amherst where she conducted research on mechanobiology, medical device design, and nanostructured surfaces.
