Tiffany Hua is a Senior Research Associate at Lux. She is a member of the Materials and Manufacturing team where she covers emerging technologies within the apparel and CPG industries including bio-based polymers, alternative materials and fibers, functional coatings, textile recycling, and alternative business models. Tiffany is very interested in the circular economy and is monitoring innovative trends and disruptions in this space.
Prior to joining Lux, Tiffany worked at the Langer Lab at MIT where she researched and designed retentive drug delivery systems for chronic diseases. She has authored and co-authored several academic publications on topics including 3D printed smart gastric devices, extended drug delivery, and gastric retention device design.
Tiffany holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she conducted research on mechanobiology, medical device design, and nanostructured surfaces.
