Owning the Energy Transition

Juan Camilo Cortes joins Lux as a Research Associate on the Energy team, contributing to its coverage of solar and wind renewable energy technologies — two of his personal favorites. In this role, Camilo will be covering the intersection between direct power generation and power grid technologies.

Camilo holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and an M.Sc. in sustainable energy technology from Delft University of Technology. Prior to joining Lux, Camilo worked at TNO Solliance as a graduate intern researching thin film tandem photovoltaic technologies.

In his free time, Camilo is an avid sports fan (Formula 1, football, and tennis). He is based in the Amsterdam office.
