Device Authority manages authentication and encryption for remote-controllable portable oxygen concentrator

May 29, 2018 | Case Study

The GCE Group, a provider of gas equipment, developed a connected portable oxygen concentrator called Zen-O. When paired with an application built on PTC's ThingWorx, Zen-O allows patients, doctors, and service providers to monitor data from the device, such as location and oxygen flow rate. Furthermore, the device can automatically adjust the oxygen delivery based on the patient's breath rate. To pilot Zen-O, GCE partnered with Device Authority to manage authentication and encryption for the device.
