Advanced Materials-JTJ (AMJTJ) develops photocatalytic coatings based on a special binder with a porous structure, which both allows a higher loading of the TiO₂ photocatalyst and helps protect the coating from degradation caused by the catalyst. AMJTJ was founded in 2004; while it has had commercial sales since the late 2000s, it has only recently begun to experience strong growth, and its overall revenue is still low, at around $5 million in 2017.
