Agrellus uses e-commerce to relieve pain points within existing distribution structure in U.S.

Agrellus, an agriculture product e-commerce platform, provides growers access to products in each of six categories (seed, chemicals, fertilizer, irrigation parts, fuel additives, and custom input application) and provides retailers or distributors access to interested consumers. After 24 months, the platform is seeing participation from growers across 25 U.S. states and includes products from 100 different dealers/distributors. Free access and a 1.5% to 5% transaction fee likely contributed to this rapid growth. Additionally, the platform works with existing distribution channels and decreases pain points like product comparison, product cost, transaction time, and transparency for the grower and dealer.
