Ɓukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (IMN) initiated a collaborative development project with other research institutions (ENEA, Ghent University, and Tecnalia) and Gefertec as the industry partner. The project's main objective is to manufacture copper (Cu) alloy parts for highly corrosive environments using Gefertec's wire arc-based directed energy deposition (DED) technology, called 3D metal production (3DMP).
