Raytheon brings predictive maintenance to the U.S. military – highlighting the need for domain familiarity in PdM

As an organization with a global footprint, the U.S. military frequently encounters issues with supply chain planning and inventory – primarily for remote and militarized locations. In March 2020, in order to reduce the cost and time associated with procuring spare parts and fixing military vehicles, the U.S. Army partnered with Raytheon to transition it from reactive maintenance of armored vehicles to predictive maintenance (PdM).
