Tag Heuer's new smartwatch highlights how traditional watch developers can begin to compete in smartwatches

Tag Heuer, a Swiss developer of luxury mechanical watches, has launched its new smartwatch model. In addition to the GPS connectivity offered by its previous model, the new product has more sensors, such as a heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass. Running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset and Google Wear OS, the new smartwatch's key features include pulse measurement, notifications (messages, calls, and emails), music control, translation, payment, agenda management, and weather.
