China investing in solar projects – in Chile

Recently, Chinese developer Sky Solar announced it is building a 300 MW, $900 million solar project in Chile – one of China's major trade partners, specifically for copper. The project will be financed by China Development Bank; the two companies are also working with Chilean group Sigdo Koppers.
