Grab just added another vertical to its business by teaming up with China's ZhongAn in the rapidly growing insurtech industry. This development comes just months after it announced another joint venture with China's Ping An Good Doctor to set up an online healthcare services platform for Southeast Asia. As Grab moves closer to its long-term goal of becoming a "super-app," clients wanting to co-develop digital insurance and health products to serve one of the fastest-growing regions in the world should find ways to team up with Grab. Grab's large user base means customer acquisition costs are low and the wealth of user data can better support underwriting processes.
