Clara Foods (Lux Take: Monitor) has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a Series B round led by Ingredion. Although achieving cost parity is still a key challenge in the production of acellular products, recent developments from Geltor, Perfect Day, and Clara Foods as well as the involvement of industry players like ADM and Ingredion reconfirm the near-term opportunities in the cellular agriculture space.
