Identifying Exploitable Innovations in the Smart City

September 27, 2017 | State of the Market Report

Cities are poised to become powerhouses of the 21st century, even as they grapple with megatrend forces and push to provide for their citizens. We instead look at 20 high-potential use cases related to the operation and infrastructure of a city, cutting across the domains of transportation, resource quality, energy, safety and security, and livability. We evaluated these use cases to identify medium-term and near-term opportunities upon which companies can act to deliver smart city elements.
