Digital Transformation: 2019 Review and 2020 Predictions

Breakthrough inventions are rarely the result of a single disruptive innovation or event. Rather, they are the result of hundreds of small innovations that, when strung together, lead to a final breakthrough innovation. In this report, we sift through hundreds of developments in the digital space from the past year to identify the most significant events that have the potential to lead to a major disruption in technologies, applications, markets, or business models in the years to come. We then extrapolate these events and offer predictions for what could potentially happen in the coming year.
